Organic Living

Living an organic lifestyle is a way that will protect your health and the health of the environment. To be called organic, a certain product must be sustainably farmed or come from a sustainably farmed source, free of chemicals, and never exposed to radiation. More importantly, it must not be genetically modified and subject to antibiotics and growth hormones. The majority of the brands that we represent here at Okiddoky embrace this organic lifestyle using materials such as organic cotton, non-toxic eco-certified paints and varnishes, bamboo fiber and eco- friendly plastic.

Sustainability

Eco-friendly manufacturing and raw materials conserve natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance. It’s no secret that economic growth and energy have come at the cost of environmental downgrade. In answer to this challenge, sustainability experts are looking at ways in which we can slow or prevent pollution, conserve natural resources and protect remaining environments. Here at Okiddoky we are choosing to collaborate with companies that respect the environment with their manufacturing practices and materials.

Recycled

Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved. Here are Okiddoky we like to work with companies that use recyclable materials wherever possible and of course all our Stationery is made from Recyclable paper and our Wrapping materials are all made out of ecological Recyclable paper.
